Born in 1986, Lucke studied the organ and church music in Leipzig, was the artistic assistant for the Leipzig University Choir from 2008 to 2012, has been cantor of the Petrikirche Freiberg (with the Silbermann organ from 1735) since 2013, and has been vice-president of the Gottfried Silbermann Society since 2014.
