Born in 1976 in Dresden, Koch studied church music and choral conducting in Leipzig, has been the cantor and organist in Freiberg since 2008, is a member of the Saxon Cultural Senate, is the artistic director for Freiberg as part of the association ECHO (European Cities of Historical Organs), teaches at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, is active as an organist across Europe, is a juror and teacher, and has released numerous recordings as an organist and conductor. Clemens Lucke

Born in 1986, Lucke studied the organ and church music in Leipzig, was the artistic assistant for the Leipzig University Choir from 2008 to 2012, has been cantor of the Petrikirche Freiberg (with the Silbermann organ from 1735) since 2013, and has been vice-president of the Gottfried Silbermann Society since 2014. Besides being busy with classical music, he is passionate about accompanying silent films. Anna-Victoria Baltrusch

Born in 1972, Katzschke studied church music and the harpsichord in Hannover, studied the harpsichord privately in Freiburg, is cantor and organist of the Diakonissenhaus Church in Dresden, is active as an organist and harpsichordist for concerts and recordings, and is active as a conductor (Ensemble Corona harmonica).
He gives tours on Silbermann organs and conducts research: Silbermann and the music of his time (organs as ensemble instruments, court and folk music with stringed keyboard instruments). More…

Christoph Rühle

Michael Schönheit

Born in 1961, Schönheit was a member of the Thuringian Boys Choir, studied at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, received a Mendelssohn scholarship, was the cantor and organist in Saalfeld, was appointed as Gewandhaus organist in Leipzig in 1986, and since 1996 has been the cathedral organist in Merseburg, where he is the artistic director of the Merseburg Organ Days.
